Our story begins with Nicky’s lifelong passion for farming. After years of dairy farming locally and building her own livestock business as a rebate agent with Elders, we turned our focus to our Boisdale property to create something lasting — a beef enterprise built on quality, care, and respect for the land.

A visit to Hanging Rock introduced us to Speckle Park cattle. Drawn to their calm temperament, efficiency, and outstanding eating quality, we undertook extensive research before establishing both stud and commercial herds of our own.

Having lived through drought and the challenges of changing climate, we knew that how we farm mattered just as much as what we produce. This led us to adopt regenerative farming practices, focused on:

• improving soil structure and carbon content

• protecting waterways and native vegetation

• increasing biodiversity

• reducing chemical inputs

• rotating stock to restore pasture health

These practices allow our land to regenerate naturally, producing healthier cattle while safeguarding our environment for future generations.
